FertilitySCORE™ is the first “at home” male sperm test available in Australia. FertilitySCORE™ Male Fertility Test is easy to use, measures both sperm count and motility and only measures live / active Sperm

Infertility affects approximately 10-15% of couples of reproductive age and 40-50% of infertility is due to problems with sperm.

The FertilitySCORE kit allows the user to determine in the privacy of his own home if a sperm sample has normal or less than normal activity. Normal activity is associated with a better chance for pregnancy.

The FertilitySCORE Kit is based on the principle that metabolically active spermatozoa will chemically change the structure of a colour dye, resulting in a marked colour change of the dye form dark blue to pink.

If the colour match is in the "positive" group there is an 86-93% chance that sperm activity is normal (20million or more live and active sperm per millilitre of fluid) and fertility potential is good. This does not guarantee that a pregnancy will occure because many factors, both male and female affect fertility.

If the colour match is in the "negative" group there is an 86-90% chance that the sperm activity is below normal (less than 20 million active sperm per millilitre of fluid). Pregnancy is less likely but certainly not impossible. A Physician should be consulted to conduct closer testing / sperm analysis
